When this family of five relocated from California, they not only completely renovated their house but their landscape too.
One goal was to make the front of their home more welcoming and add curb appeal. A main 5’ walk was added to connect the entry with the street and a 3’walk was added off the driveway. Red brick from the house was incorporated into the concrete walks with a brick ’round about’ connected the two. Brick was also added to the entry stoop.
The second goal was to create more outdoor living space in the backyard and the opportunity to do some suburban gardening.
A lower level back patio was added for additional entertaining and a fire pit was installed to extend the use of the patio from March to November. Two raised redwood vegetable gardens were constructed so that they could grow vegetables with their young children.
